Julie Edwards(President and Co-Founder)
Julie is a long-time West Linn resident with a history of community volunteer work. She has two sons, one of whom is at West Linn High School and one of whom recently graduated. She founded the West Linn Community Task Force in response to a growing drug and alcohol abuse problem in the community. Julie has 22 years experience in the communications, public relations, advertising, marketing and fundrasing fields.
Mary Glass (Vice President and Co-Founder)
Mary has been active in the West Linn community for many years and is a current West Linn High School parent. The mother of three sons, she is a past board chair and current board member at St. Mary’s Academy. She also is conference coordinator at Pacific Crest Securities.
Susan Kruger (Secretary)
Susan is a West Linn resident with a long history of community activism. She is a member of Willamette Christian Church in West Linn and has volunteered help for many West Linn school activities. Susan also is a member of several insurance industry associations and holds insurance licenses in six Western states.
Dr. Andrew Mendenhal (Medical Expert)
Andrew is a co-founder, physician and pain management specialist at HealthWorks NW, a practice devoted to helping patients with drug and alcohol abuse problems. A recognized national expert in addiction medicine, Andrew is a graduate of Oregon Health & Sciences University. After a tenure as a family practice physician, Andrew received a board certification in addiction medicine.
Steven Mygrant (Legal Expert)
Steve is a Clackamas County deputy district attorney who prosecutes drug crimes and driving under the influence fatalities. His legal career began in 2003. Steve is a member of the Clackamas County Inter-Agency Task Force, a group of local and federal law enforcement officials charged with tackling the county’s methamphetamine problem.
Terri Jones (Meeting Coordinator)
Terry has worked for the city of West Linn’s parks and recreation department for more than 11 years. She coordinates community classes, programs and events. Terry leads the parks department’s teen advisory committee.
Doug Berggren
Doug is a 12-year resident of West Linn with strong ties to the community. He has three children in West Linn schools and is an active volunteer coach and local church member. Doug is a partner and vice president of trading at Pacific Crest Securities in Portland.
Dan McMillian (Community Outreach / Media)
Dan is a 15-year resident of West Linn. He has a son at West Linn High School and another son whom is a recent graduate. Dan has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and has worked for various community newspapers and the Portland Business Journal.
Janice Moore
Janice has been active in the West Linn community for over 21 years and has two children in West Linn schools. She has volunteered at various schools in West Linn and within her church. Janice served on the board of advisors at Oregon Golf Club.
Ellen McMillan (Treasurer)
Ellen is a 15-year resident of West Linn with one child who graduated from West Linn High School and another at the high school. She has over 25-years experience in corporate income tax. Currently employed as tax director at Cascade Corp. in Gresham, Ellen has worked for Tektronix Inc., NACCO Materials Handling Group and Arthur Andersen.
